Hello, 

I graduated from Long Island University with an undergraduate degree in molecular biology and a graduate degree in microbiology. My academic leadership and teaching experience includes:

1- A full time “assistant research scientist” at NYU Langone Medical Center which resulted in many scientific publications. While serving at NYU Langone medical center, I served as a biology instructor and chemistry instructor at New York City Technical College.

2- Science coordinator and director of global education at Sampson Community college. 

3- Director of programs for Natural Sciences, PE, and Health at Johnston Community College. In addition, I was responsible to lead the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) form the initiation of the project till the finalization and submission.  It was submitted on August 2012 and approved by SACS visiting team on October, 2012. 

4- Currently, I am at Nash Community College teaching traditional and online anatomy and physiology I & II.  In addition to teaching,  I present  topics related to online science education in major conferences in the USA and Canada. My interest focus and research is on curriculum development, concept mapping,  and assessment strategies. I am a member of the Curriculum Committee for human anatomy and physiology Society (HAPS).
