I bring a wealth of academic expertise and leadership experience that bridges cutting-edge research, innovative teaching, and curriculum development. My educational foundation includes a Bachelor’s in Molecular Biology and a Master’s in Microbiology from Long Island University.

My professional journey reflects a steadfast commitment to excellence in education:

1. Research and Instruction: As a full-time Assistant Research Scientist at NYU Langone Medical Center, I contributed to numerous scientific publications while simultaneously teaching biology and chemistry at New York City Technical College. This dual role enriched my ability to connect advanced research with practical classroom application.

2. Leadership in Science and Global Education: At Sampson Community College, I served as Science Coordinator and Director of Global Education, spearheading initiatives that expanded academic horizons and fostered cross-disciplinary collaboration.

3. Program Development and Accreditation Success: As Director of Programs for Natural Sciences, Physical Education, and Health at Johnston Community College, I led the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) from conception to successful approval by the SACS visiting team—an achievement that underscored my strategic planning and implementation skills.

4. Teaching and Thought Leadership in Online Education: I teach traditional and online Anatomy and Physiology I & II at Nash Community College. Beyond the classroom, I present at major national and international conferences, sharing insights on online science education, curriculum design, concept mapping, and assessment strategies.
